Google Search Console includes a report for each supported rich result type it has detected on a property, such as Breadcrumbs, Product snippets, Videos or Job postings. Each report shows valid and invalid items, groups errors by issue, and lets you validate a fix after deploying it. These reports are the main way to monitor structured data at site scale after launch.
Where to find them and what they show
The reports appear in the Search Console sidebar, typically under a heading for shopping or enhancements, only for types Google has found on the site. Each report charts valid and invalid items over time. Clicking an issue lists example URLs, and URL Inspection on any of them shows the item as Google last read it.
Google retires reports when it retires features. When a rich result type is deprecated, its report disappears and its data is no longer available, so export anything you want to keep.
Using the validate fix flow
After you fix an issue, click Validate fix. Google recrawls affected pages over the following days or weeks and updates their status. Failed validation usually means some pages still carry the old template or the fix did not deploy everywhere.
Pairing with performance data
The Performance report has a search appearance filter for many rich result types. Comparing impressions and clicks for pages with and without a given appearance is the closest you can get to measuring what a rich result does for a site. Google does not report on every appearance type, so some features cannot be measured this way.
Example
Spotting a template regression
Halvergate, a SaaS help desk, sees its Breadcrumbs report jump from zero invalid items to several hundred after a docs redesign. The issue is a missing item property in the last list element. The developers fix the component, the team clicks Validate fix, and the count drops as Google recrawls.
Common mistakes
Expecting instant updates
Reports reflect Google's crawl, which can lag deploys by days or weeks. Use the Rich Results Test or URL Inspection for immediate checks.
Ignoring rising invalid counts
A gradual increase in invalid items often signals a template or CMS change that is spreading. Catch it early.
Questions
Reports only appear for supported types Google has found on crawled pages. New markup takes time to show, and unsupported types never get a report.
